DSC Pleased to Welcome Central Texas Chapter

Recognized for its rich biodiversity and outdoor recreational opportunities, Central Texas is an ideal location for DSC’s mission to foster a deeper appreciation for our natural environment. The new Central Texas Chapter aims to engage local communities through educational initiatives, responsible hunting practices, and efforts that conserve our shared natural heritage for generations to come.

Colin Raftery, President of the Central Texas chapter, emphasized the chapter’s vision.

“The biggest goal is to help others,” he said. He also highlighted the importance of engaging the next generation, stating, “We are losing a big generation of hunters, and we will support hunter safety, gun safety, and conservation education for the youth.”

The chapter seeks to inspire individuals to actively contribute to conservation efforts while celebrating the outdoor lifestyle. The chapter will hold an event Thursday, June 26, at Hoffman Haus in Fredericksburg, Texas, from 5-7 p.m.

Dallas Safari Club invites community members, conservationists, and outdoor enthusiasts to join in this meaningful endeavor. Together, we can make a positive impact—protecting wildlife, promoting outdoor recreation, and ensuring the conservation of our natural resources.
